Stains actually reduce the amount of light that comes into the teeth, which is why the dull yellow color forms on the surface. When the whitening gel breaks down these stains from the inside out, more light can shine on your teeth, penetrating the surface and whitening your smile. Basically, teeth whitening gels works by polishing the surface of teeth, while penetrating safely and effectively into the interior of teeth to whiten them from the inside out.
